Family-friendly afternoon celebration features live music, food trucks, emergency vehicle displays, and charity raffles on Sept. 12.

Summit Harley Hosts Free Block Party After First Responders Ride

LINDON, Utah — Summit Harley-Davidson announced today that it will host the official First Responders Block Party on Saturday, Sept. 12, welcoming the general public to celebrate local emergency service personnel following the return of the 92-mile Ride for First Responders.

The free, family-friendly event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Summit Harley-Davidson, located at 555 S. Geneva Rd. in Lindon. While the morning motorcycle ride requires rider registration, the afternoon block party is open to all community members, families, and supporters.

"Our goal with the block party is to provide a place where the entire community—riders and non-riders alike—can come together to say thank you to our emergency personnel and support the Long family," said Rory Swan, general manager at Summit Harley-Davidson. "Whether you’re bringing the family to see the emergency vehicles up close, enjoying lunch from local food trucks, or entering the raffles, every person who joins helps show our local heroes that they are supported."

Block Party Highlights & Activities

  • Live Entertainment & Music: High-energy performances throughout the afternoon.

  • Local Food Trucks: On-site food and beverage vendors, including Utah Killer Dogs and Fro-Zenn Drinks & Treats.

  • "Meet the Fleet" First Responders Edition: Interactive displays allowing kids and families to explore local emergency vehicles and meet area firefighters, police officers, and paramedics.

  • Free Kids’ Entertainment: Face painting, balloon art, and caricatures provided by Party Pipeline.

  • Welcome Station & Raffles: Guests checking in with the Harley Angels can enter to win a $1,000 Summit Harley-Davidson gift card*. Additional charity raffle tickets will be available for purchase at $2 for one ticket, $10 for six tickets, or $20 for 12 tickets, with all proceeds benefiting this year’s designated cause.

  • Let's Ride Challenge Station: Riders can log their miles at the Let's Ride Validation Station to help raise awareness and support for veterans.

The 92-mile escorted motorcycle ride departs Summit Harley-Davidson at 9:00 a.m. and visits four Intermountain Health hospitals across Utah and Wasatch counties before returning to Lindon at 1:00 p.m. to launch the celebration.
